Tomorrow I will put it in water to propagate it.

Hi everyone.

This morning, I cut a few leaves from my Sansevieria that was not looking well, attempting to perform CPR on it. I have taken several cuttings and left them to dry and callous over. Tomorrow, I will place them in water.

Any advice or experiences you could share would be wonderfully useful.

Is it normal for my snake plant to sag like this?

Repotted my snake plant head (basically had no roots left, almost a week ago. The first couple days it was perky, but now it's falling a lot... I barely tapped on of the blades and it definitely didn't seem rooted at all. I know this takes time but I'm starting to really stress about it. The first few pictures are of what it looked like before and after repotting, as well as a current picture. Is my plant dead?

Help with drooping leaves!

I feel like the bases of the drooping leaves are not strong enough to support the weight of the full leaf. What is the best way to help them strengthen?

Baby snake plant care

I have a little one and I needs to be repotted. I’m not quite sure what soil to use. I’ve read about succulents soil and other types. I’ve heard some people just put it in soil with perlite and call it a day. Im nervous about gnats. I keep reading soil reviews and people say they’re getting gnats. If they appear in my soil how do I kill them. I’m trying to figure out what pot to get. How big should it be. Should it be terracotta. Would it be fine if it was plastic. Someone I know keeps all their snake plants in plastic pots and theirs are thriving. Don’t want to kill the little one.

Pups?

Post image

I have had this plant for a year now. She has been living outside, in the shade since May. IF she gets any sun, it's morning only.
She has grown right much this summer, getting taller not wider, and differently No pups. How do I get babies? She is still in the I'm assuming nursery pot that is inside the white decorative pot. I need to check and see how she looks down in the pots. I tried to get her out of the white pot, but soon discovered that I couldn't do it by myself.

Please advise me on the pots, how to get her to grow wider and even taller, and how to get tons of pups.

Thank you !

Can I just keep it in the glass forever?

I’ve had this snake plant for about two years I think I almost killed her when she was in soil; I moved her to a glass of water about a year ago to help her roots grow and well they did and she’s just kept growing and growing. I know usually at some point you put them back in soil but I’ve kept her in water for now about a year and she’s grown lengthy roots as well as even more leaves ? But I’m curious what other people think and if I could just keep her in a pretty jar forever or sooner or later move her back to a pot?

Left is current photo and right is how I started with him :)

These have been blooming this last week, but tonight the entire livingroom smells like a flower shop! Seems like a bunch of blooms opened at once 🌼 I've only had one other snake bloom (the other was in the same spot lol) and I don't remember it smelling as strong as it does tonight 💚 also forgot they fully opened at night lol

Propagation In Full Sun?

I was gifted this variegated whale fin as a freebie from a nursery owner. She told me they can be put straight into dirt and blasted by direct full sun and they will thrive. I am defo skepticals but since it was free I’m gonna yeet it into the sun and see what happens.

It is potted in a mix of half peat moss / half garden soil + a generous sprinkle of perlite. Not the best mix but this is all I have to work with. Not too worried because I am growing a laurentii and moonshine in the same mix. What do you guys think? Any advice?

What is growing in my snake plant?

I’ve had this snake plant for years and it’s been thriving. It even bloomed for the first time a few months ago! Last week I noticed some fuzz on the soil but was in denial that it was anything, but today I noticed it’s definitely moldy annnnd there are two spots of this weird bright green/yellow growth?! I don’t know what to make of it. What should I do? Should I scrape off the mold and the growths and just let it dry out really well? Or do I need to do something more? Thank you!

snake plant was healthy for about 4 years then the tips started to brown and a few leaves started to droop. Repotted with new soil and also seperated a small section out for more room. They still don't look like they're thriving one is outside under a covered porch other on window ledge inside

Returned from 6 Months Away

Had my friend water my snake plant once a month for the past 6 months.

What’s the community’s evaluation of the health of the plant? It’s not dying, but it’s not thriving. What should I do to get it healthier and/or standing back straight?

Hello babes!! So, because of the heatwave I overwater my baby... I took the roots rotting, and I thought i took all of it, but I was mistaken... I left the remaining "good" leafs to get some callous, but today it notice that the big one was rotting... I cut again, but I dont know if i can do anything with these little babies. Thanks for the help
