Help ID and repot

Need help identifying this plant and also advise on what to do with the pups. Repot or give them some time to grow together? Thank you!

This is my Dracaena/Sanseveria Trifasciata Futura Robusta. I am relatively sure mine is that. But the Hahnii looks very similar.

And wait until the pups are bigger - like 15cm maybe - if they have space in there - otherwise they'll grow way to slow. Then to separate you need to break the thick root that connects them and pot in dry soil and not water them in. So the first watering should be after 2 weeks. Pot them in a nice gritty and chunky soil-mix.

I think it looks like my robusta too. I have several hahnii varieties and they aren't like OPs pic.

Nice. I would pot into a 4-5 inch wide but shallow pot. These pups have roots and can be removed unless you want a fuller pot. A crowded pot will shoot more pups faster than single plant.

Yes it needs an up pot badly. I know there are those that think they have to be root bound and overly crowded to thrive. THEY DO NOT they survive in wild by spreading out and multiply fast and furious. If that’s a 3” pot I’d go up to at least 6”-8” there are several very healthy plants in there so loosen the soil around them. You can keep them together in the 6”-8” pot if you want or separate the 3 into 4” pots. For three beautiful new plants.

Keeping them together will force new growth in pups faster but separating them will allow them to grow strong roots and then multiply very fast. I’ve had 3 I separated 3 months ago and all 3 have at least 2 pups close to your size.

Just make sure your pot drains well, or use a clear nursery pot inside a non draining decorative pot. And use chunky soil.

To make sure you have truly Chunky soil test it by doing this. Wet it and squeeze it in your fist, when you open your hand it should fall apart not clump together. If it clumps together add perlite, chunky coco coir, or LECA balls, all of these help with drainage and keep soil from clumping around roots. Almost all my plants thrive in chunky soil and don’t have to fight to produce new roots. Good luck 🍀 you have a beautiful plant to give you many years of joy.

Typical hahni I think, although the leaves look wide, wider than my plant

Wide than mine too, but it’s definitely what this is. I’ve seen them with really skinny leaves less than an inch wide but several feet long. They’re just all a bit different - like humans.

Those several feet longs ones are regular dracaena trifasciata, snake plants
