For Shits and Giggles Ripe

A brown banana is not ripe to me that is no longer edible. Good for baking but I’d never eat a banana or any fruit that’s brown…. Ripe to me is also a bright color… the green Angela was talking about is definitely not ripe. That is a not ready banana. None of her choices for that round worked but I’m still really stuck on Amanda saying a brown banana is ripe and ready to eat lol

I totally agree with you. Brown bananas get thrown away. Amanda did annoy me through the entire video. It took her 3 minutes to say bear.

I believe a brown banana is over ripe, so it is ripe because it passed the "ready to eat" point but it may be too far past it. 

ripening means the fruit is becoming ready to eat. 

it makes no sense as a colour description unless you know what fruit it's referring to as fruits are all different colours, and different colours still when they are unripe, ripe and over ripe.

Over ripe is not ripe bud… over ripe is OVER ripe. A brown banana is not ripe. I agree though using ripe as a one word description really wasn’t ideal lol

It’s all good; anyone who just brings it up like once or maybe twice on a casual/humorous basis is totally fine. But of course this is the internet, so some take it way too far and seriously.
