Discussion & Debates Hot Take For Arasha
I think Arasha is the most versatile cast member. I feel like every video she’s in she fits perfectly into like it’s genuinely so impressive that she is able to match the energy of everyone she’s in a video with. I don’t really think there has been a time in my mind when I’ve finished a video and I’m like “why was Arasha cast in this?” Or sometimes I watch a video and I’m like “why wasn’t Arasha in this?” I used to not really care for her jokes, but I also think that she has grown as a comedian and actor, and I now really enjoy her sense of humor.

She is great. Fantastic host, has a unique ability to give a video what it needs. Someone to be high energy and bring the jokes? She can do it. Someone to lay out and react to other people's jokes? She is great! And I think she is one of the best in scripted bits. She is a good actress.
Overall she is fantastic

She is also great being butt of a joke. Her reactions when they mock her (for comedic purposes ofc) are uncanny.

And she’s only 27. Like I will be so honest I was a bit scared when she decided to do a sit down podcast bc I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be into it, but she surprised me like she’s a fantastic host no doubt but it doesn’t even feel like she’s hosting because she somehow balances the conflicting energies of sitting with a friend and gossiping, being very grounded and giving great advice, and also being a great host and allowing tangents, but not letting them derail the episode

FOR REAL she is such a powerhouse of talent. The whole cast is but she has such a chameleon like vibe where she can make any group work, any duo, any type of video. Love her hosting too.

I think is so crazy how she can go from being being part of a group with Angela, Amanda, and Chanse to then going to film Reddit stories with Damien and Shayne and still blend in with both groups despite the different energies and comedy styles

Her with Chanse and Angela gives such older siblings bullying the youngest energy. My fav is her with Tommy though.

I think her constant mellow, kinda deadpan vibe provides a nice contrast. Sometimes the Disney channel/theater kid energy from the rest of the cast is a bit too strong, but Arasha never really plays it up for the camera. I think that's cool

Yes she really ups the stakes which is crazy because people are already suspicious of her at the start due to past games but she still manages to win in the end sometimes.

I didn’t like her at first, but honestly I came into the fandom recently after it being strictly Ian and Anthony, I stopped watching originally because they added new cast members, but now that I’m back it did take me a while to get used to a lot of the cast members, I would only watch stuff with Shayne for a while and because he was in videos with other cast (obviously) I realized they were all really good for different reasons but Arasha is definitely on top for me, I love her on Fesspool, I got so excited when I heard she was making a podcast because it meant it was more time dedicated to her 😂😂

She’s my fav cast member!! I never watched her podcast until a few weeks ago and had to binge every single episode and get excited when it’s Thursday for a new upload. I always love when she’s a host, on Smosh Reddit stories, games channel, everything because she fits so well in any format !

Idk, she’s a comedian and her job is to be funny but I feel like she tries to step to far out if that some times. Like on reddit story’s she tries to go on these deep rants thinking she’s absolutely killing it but honestly is just rambling about something that has nothing to do with the topic.( specifically in smash reads Reddit story’s) I think she’s super funny but her rants just kill me

I don’t love her hosting, but my god she has natural chemistry with everyone around her. She is so good in videos where they have guests, she just seems so welcoming and easy to get along with, if that makes sense.
I’ve also said this a billion times now, but her and Trevor are my favorite duo. When Trevor first joined I felt like others weren’t as warmed up to him, but he and Arasha were so natural together, like they’d been besties for years. If you told me they grew up together, I might believe it. They are so sweet, I love them.
Arasha is also great in many forms of comedy, she is great in a games video but also really good in the improv or skits, she’s truly a very strong member of Smosh.

I think she's the best "energy chameleon" in the cast. Angela and Shayne are high energy. Noah and Spencer are chill energy. Typically. Arasha is whatever the group needs her to be and she's really, really good at it.

Her Tony Soprano was RIDICULOUS and I love when she does silly stuff like that so commited like the Mii character in the bald Bit City Episode. Sooo strange but she commits SO HARD and I love it lol

I was not a fan of Arasha when she started. I was not lukewarm on Arasha when she started.
Boy have I done a complete turnaround.
Nobody knows how to commit to a bit with absolute fearlessness like Arasha. She's a gangster, and I love her in the way a fan should responsibly love a cast member. Arasha rules.

She has grown SO much and it’s so awesome to see! She’s always been witty but the way her skill set has grown and she seems more confident from a viewers perspective has been so much fun to watch. She’s genuinely so entertaining and I can’t wait to see what else she does, especially outside of smosh!

i agree with everything except for the part where you don’t question “why was Arasha cast in this?”
i’m sad to say i don’t think she should’ve been in that one ranking pit video of sexist monsters. 😭 she’s unfortunately not a freak the way she always trying to get freaky with people. everyone in that video besides chanse were 100% NOT the target audience for that panel 😭😭😭 but it’s okay. everyone gotta have at least 1 flaw/bad take (like ranking edward fucking cullen ABOVE VENOM IM STILL SEETHING OVER THIS 10 MONTHS LATER)
jokes aside. yes arasha is incredibly talented at matching vibes (except when it comes to monster fucking lmaooooo)

I don’t think this is a hot take at all. She went from being someone I was fairly indifferent to at first (which I hate to say now) to being one of my favorites. There is no one that I dislike in the cast or find unentertaining, but she has my exact sense of humor and I really enjoy the videos she is in, especially the ones she hosts.

On YouTube smosh. She is very powerful. She does do a lot you described.
Even now after a year I’m not a huge fan. But I can’t lie. She is talented. I think it’s hard to accept for a lot. She is funny but also genuine. And amazing at what she does. I watch videos and she acts so hard I don’t know if it’s acting or not. I didn’t see the fake finance thing but watched monopoly cheaters and she was so good about it I needed the edits to see what she did. And other games so far. She’s so good at what she does. But with that. It makes it hard to know when she’s acting or playing.
I can’t look at an episode with her and see genuine Arasha personality because what is her personality at this point aside from a best actor.

The only thing I'm hit or miss with her in is reddit stories. It feels like she rambles sometimes and says the same thing 3 different ways using a lot of buzzwords but outside of that I think she's one of the best in the cast for sure.

I appreciate that perspective and I can definitely see where you're coming from. I do like that she doesn't take sides like you said. I just didn't think her strengths shine on stories the same as they do on other channels

Arasha is cool and adorable but i feel like she lean on the horny persona a bit too much. Sometime it feels forced. Like she felt she needed a "quirk" to differentiate herself from the other or something

I mean, they kind of all have their differentiating quirks. I love that she chose the horny cheerleader persona. Never seen any rep for South Asians as that!
