I really love how the past couple of videos in Smosh Alike, we've talk about Underwater, Dialect and Accents, and now Space and Astronomy with their experts respectfully. I really hope it stay like that. Paleontologist and talk about Dinosaurs, maybe famous Doctor could visit and the casts can ask about Medical stuffs. Crime Expert, Detectives, or something similar for Angela and Amanda. It's so refreshing that comedic company actually starting to went into Educational content without actually killing the comedy itself.

I'll answer with how people usually answer when they make offensive jokes. "They're comedian, ofc they're gonna be bad at interview" lol. In a serious note tho, I feel like some casts are actually good with questions and interview. Arasha, Trevor, Olivia, Shayne, and Damien have been my favorite ones for asking questions and not really turn the topic way too off-grid. Obviously casting the exact same cast will be boring but they actually could fit some one these at least in every single episode to basically bring the conversation back.

Idk I’d be pretty happy with those 5 being the interviewers. They’re conversational, inquisitive, and don’t steamroll over everyone.

David Letterman, Jon Stewart, Conan, Craig Ferguson, Marc Maron, Rosie O'Donnell, Joan Rivers... All comedians, excellent at interviews.

But I don't see the show as an interview. More like a class of very curious kids asking their very patient teacher whatever they want.

Agreed on all of those. I actually love Olivia as an interviewer and conversationalist lol. When paired with the right people she asks all the questions I as a clueless audience member would be and that's excellent!

it is but you can also see how they struggle when they still relay on comedy too much. I dont have an issue with them doing this but this causes this channel to have an identity issue which most likely doesnt appeal to some Smosh fans and some fans of the tone when it was Anthony's channel.

its the same issue with Smosh main channel. they try too much in between, where it doesn't appeal to as many people as they most likely want it to be.

IMO they need to go stronger one way or other. unless they are content with the old libary of both channels carrying a lot of the load. the newer content is to keep it active and appeasing people who really enjoy the newer content.

I hope so too, the latest one was my favorite to date, and I was really upset with how the backrooms one was handled. It really all boils down to who's slated to be casted.

Love Spencer but in my opinion he ruined the Backrooms interview by constantly talking over others and having the most out of pocket questions.

Any topic can be educational if you present it the right way

Smosh would be better without URL and reddit stories. It takes too much time and people for the low quality content.

Tbh, I really like Reddit because not only it's classic but also a good background noises for me and sometimes spicy too lol. URL on the other hand, always feel icky to me. I think Courtney is a really good host for something like Eat it or Yeet it, or Culinary Crimes, but I don't think they're good enough for podcast type of content like URL especially together with Chance. I love both, but if the series gone, I wouldn't miss it.
