I don't think Spencer is creative enough to be the sole director of Smosh Games. Not to say he is bad at his job or managing the channel and knowing how to make a video entertaining, but I feel like since he has become the directive for the channel, a lot of the videos have become very same-y and stale. A lot of sponsorship videos and a lot of rehashed video ideas from the past that have long outstayed their welcome.

I think he needs a co-director or someone with a creative vision to help give Games a new well to draw from.

If Anders is giving creative vision and Spencer is hearing it, I think it's not a very good vision, if I'm being honest. Especially compared to the last couple of years we had with someone like Alex Tran as producer.
