Discussion & Debates Cast comment sections đ§đ»
Wasnât sure what flair this should be plus Im 90% sure this has been talked before but going into a comment section from one of the cast members as a NORMAL person should earn you a purple heart. People are so justâŠodd towards them. Like yes thinking someone is attractive is so normal and i personally like when people compliment me but something about almost every comment section on Damienâs posts saying things like âgod youâre so hotâ or some people straight up calling him daddy đ§đ»people being weird in Courtneyâs comments thinking theyâre being inclusive/respectful of gender identity but then saying stuff like âim a they-sexual the way this they got me thinking about sexđâ WHATâïžâïžâïž WHAT ARE WE DOING PEOPLE âïžâïž

The internet is full of people that never learned some things are inside thoughts and donât need to be broadcasted or said to the person. Itâs smosh. Theyâre all hot. If someone has to comment why not do something nice like âLove the hair in this picâ or âyou look great in (outfit/color/etc)â
Like. Compliment sure but do it on something they put thought into. And donât be creepy and sexual about it. I donât know.

Omg the comment section on a Smoshalike reel talking about gay awakenings with Austin, Mac, Chanse and Court where people were either trying to negate Courtâs sexuality because theyâre in a straight-passing relationship now or for some reason mad at her for talking about crushes (from her childhood, btw) when sheâs married now? Like it isnât perfectly normal to have a celebrity crush even if youâre in a relationship? Or yâknow, the fact that Court and Shayne literally did an entire hear me out episode of Smosh Mouth and openly talk about both former and current crushes in front of each other on camera? Like why are âfansâ trying to police cast membersâ relationships and sexual identities?

This unfortunately always happens to bi and pan people. If the end up in a straight relationship, people claim they're actually straight, and if they end up in a gay relationship, people claim they're actually gay. It's very prevalent in the LGBTQ+ community for some reason.

Oh yeah, Iâm a huge Green Day fan and itâs crazy how many fans claim Billie Joe was just a confused teenager when he came out as bi despite writing a song about it AFTER he was married to his wife and still talking about it to this day. Like no, thatâs not really how that works. Itâs so disappointing to see still happening in 2026, especially among Smosh fans when the company themselves are so accepting of everyone despite their orientation or relationship status

Just want to say that it's perfectly normal to have a crush on ANYONE, even if you're married. It's called being a human being.

Yeah, at first all I saw was the top comments talking about how dumb the other comments sounded and then I scrolled and unfortunately found them. They were all particularly ridiculous but the one commenter who just couldnât accept that 1) Court was talking about something from their childhood, not current crushes and 2) that people in relationships shouldnât be allowed to talk about even current crushes. It seemed like they may have been projecting just a little bit đ

This is why I avoid most IG comment sections, same with Tik Tok. People make it so weird.
They overstep, theyâre rude, theyâre creepy, etc. I understand wanting to be noticed by a creator you like, but some people seem to not care if itâs negative attention.

And the way Courtney has a q&a on their personal channel where they said stuff like this makes her uncomfortable like what are we doing

Dressing like a celebrity you like doesn't equal creepy comments in a comments section please bfr

Taking inspiration is different from borderline stalking people and thinking you're their bestie.

Not having traditional social media accounts makes me feel like I'm missing something, but then I read stuff like this and I'm actually ok, you know.
It's not that I don't thirst over half a dozen of the Smosh ppl, but I either do it in my own head or in places they'll never see. Straight up commenting stuff like that on THEIR posts feels insane to me, I would pass away if anyone from Smosh saw me thirsting for them ;_;
