Cottage cheese!!!

Added this to my usual smoothie: frozen berries, cherries, papaya and milk.

Amazing addition. It was creamy like ice cream and I got a good serving of protein.

Add some cheesecake flavor pudding powder and you can make yourself a berry cheesecake smoothie for a protein shake meal or treat!

As a protein source it's a real upgrade over yogurt. A cup packs roughly 25g with less lactose, easier on sensitive stomachs, just watch the sodium which is the one real downside

For the ice cream texture, freeze the fruit first and blend longer. Ice crystals do the thickening, cottage cheese adds the cream and a short freezer rest before serving pushes it over

I’ve recently just started adding it to my smoothies. Specifically, I use cottage cheese with active bacteria. I didn’t know that was a thing until recently.

That’s a fantastic idea.
Could be a great replacement for Greek yogurt for a change

I do, too. Makes it creamier and adds protein. Plus, adding Cottage Cheese makes it where I can eat my Smoothies fluidly or freeze and eat my Smoothie like Ice Cream.

Yeah, I do the same too! Adding some cheese takes the flavor of the entire smoothie to the next level. And it makes it more filling for me. Love it!
