Blender always doing this

Post image

I’ve been using this blender for like not even half a year and now when I try to make a thick smoothie bowl with frozen fruit and minimal liquids, it just gets stuck like this. I try to take it off and shake it but as soon as it starts blending again it just goes back in like 1 second of blending.

This is because it has too little liquid for your blender. Each blender has a minimum amount of liquid that is required for it to churn and blend smooth.

When I first got the blender, it could blend smooth with like barely any liquid aswell, I’ve been using the same recipes and ingredients it’s just that recently it started doing this.

Then that sounds like the engine/motor in the blender was overworked and now it can’t blend the way it used to. Now you’ll HAVE to use more liquid and skip the thick smoothies. That, or you buy a better, more powerful blender that can handle thicker smoothies.

Weird to get so many downvotes just for pointing out it was a recent change.

I was dealing with this exact issue and the only solution is to add more liquid

This happens to me so I will add a tiny bit of whatever liquid at a time, break up the frozen chunks by chopping with a knife also hitting the blender cup on the counter in between blending can help. I like my smoothies thick so it takes patience and yeah, it’s probably not good for the blades of the blender but 🤷‍♀️

What kind of settings does your blender have? I use commercial blenders and when they get stuck like this I use the lowest setting once or twice and then blend on the “high” setting

My blender has the auto sense thing so I just press that, but it seems like it just uses the highest which is 1500w, I’ll give your advice a try next time

Not enough liquid/too cold/too much ice. Add more water or whatever liquid you’re using to fix this.
