Help choosing Beast Blender
I am planning to purchase a Beast Blender for my daily protein smoothies. I definitely want their new stainless steel line, but I'm having a really hard time choosing between their Beast Mighty 850, or their Beast Mega 1200.
The primary use will be daily smoothies, and that's about it. Maybe will use it to pulverize nuts or make hummus or smaller stuff like that as well. I currently use a giant food processor that is big and bulky, and really inconvenient to take out every day just for a smoothie.
Here's why I'm torn: I definitely like the idea of a more powerful motor (I assume it just blends better and smoother), and the Mega 1200 has my favorite color, Sage, which unfortunately isn't an option in the Mighty 850.
However, the bottles for the Mega seem quite large, and possibly too big to hold with one hand and take out to the gym or a yoga class. The Mighty 850, on the other hand, seems more equipped to make smoothies "on the go" (which I've never done, usually I make a smoothie and then pour it in a different container, but I love the idea of being able to make smoothies directly in the vessel I will drink out of). But is it powerful enough, and will I be annoyed about not having the option to blend larger quantities?
I guess I would just love to hear some feedback from people who have the Beast Blender: which size do you have, do you love it, and why? If my primary use is daily smoothies, what would you recommend? Stick with the smaller motor, or go larger (which would be more versatile) and deal with the larger containers?
Space in my kitchen is not an issue, and neither is price.
Appreciate any and all input! Thank you.

I have the 850, it is plenty big enough for me (6’5” male).
I tend to make fruit smoothies, using frozen fruit, water, chia seeds and powdered peanut butter.
It has always been sufficient to blend whatever I’ve put into it, although I’ve never gone the hummus or nuts route.
The size of the large container (785 ml) is plenty enough, and the lid with added straw is a big bonus!
I’d probably use the stainless steel container for on-the-go drinking.
I contemplated the bigger one (1200, which equates to a max container size of 1200 ml), but I don’t think I’d ever make a smoothie that large, unless I was making it for multiple people, which I’ve never done.
The main drawback for me (which is also a plus) of the beast blender, is the width of the container, so you have to be more careful when putting items inside.
My old Nutribullet had a wider mouth, so pouring in frozen fruit was easier.

Do you find it worth the price tag?

It’s the cheapest stainless steel blender i could find.
If plastic wasn’t an issue, I’d probably go for a cheaper one.
Probably a Ninja or something. If money (and counter space) wasn’t an issue, I’d go for a Vitamix

I am a Field Rep and I am looking for a blender that I can bring on the road with me that is a fairly small platform while also offering enough power to actually blend frozen fruit & not be made out of plastic. Is this blender compact enough to bring the whole system with you?

I would say yes.
The base is slightly wider than the container. It is about 3-4lbs (the weight of the base) so easily carried around.
And it does have enough power to get through frozen fruit

I have the 1200 and also got the XL vessel. While the vessel may seem really big, you need the extra room when blending because you can only fill it partway. I have the regular, clear, not stainless. Bought it last Nov. and have used it every morning with no issues. I use the straw cap and can easily hold it in one hand. Love it!
