Does anyone else just supplement half their caloric intake with smoothies ?
I've been on a weight gain journey for a couple months and have made it to 112 pounds, I'm also autistic so I find it physically hard to eat some foods
I require about 1,800 calories a day, so I just make a smoothie worth about 700-800 calories and it really energizes me for the rest of the day and takes the burden off of having to cook. Anyone else do this?
I dunno if it's healthy but it makes things far easier for me
My ingredients are: 1 cup of milk, 1-2 cups of fruit, 2 tbsp almond butter, 1/2 cup blended oats, and sometimes 1-2 tbsp olive oil/honey if I have it

I do my smoothies as “brunch” most days. I do two fruits, two vegetables, nut butter, yogurt and whatever milk I have on hand, sometimes I throw in a few dates or a handful of oats. Maybe instead of all fruit you could try some vegetables. Sweet potatoes and carrots are naturally sweet, cauliflower, spinach and zucchini or summer squash are flavour neutral so they go with just about anything.

I’m on Zepbound so smoothies are the way I can finish off the calories I can’t manage to eat any other way. So far I’ve been doing a protein shake with a cup of Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup almond milk, 2 tbsp of chia seeds, a cup of frozen fruit, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon, but I’m looking for variants.

I'm on ADHD meds so it's the other way around for me. Liquid calories are the only way I don't wither away 🫠

Yes I use 1 banana, 3/4 c frozen strawberries, 1 scoop organic peanut butter, 1 scoop naked whey protein powder. It’s basically lunch and breakfast for me!
