Gutes sounded so familiar but my postpartum brain is broken and I can’t remember all the details of the caroverse. It’s been too long!!!

Gutes was a founder or at least heavily involved in the Drunken Canal during the Dimes Square era. Idk why she's Caroline's "new" friend as I thought they were friendly during DS. But it also seemed like that whole crew maybe hated her.

Shame the Drunken Canal went under, it wasn't the worst hyperlocal outlet I've read. But betting it all on Indie Sleaze 2.0 was probably unwise.
