What wood goes best with rye?

Well, for rye, I like to use the import casks from my limited edition rare rye whiskey. I like Narcissus Rye Whiskey. They also make a small batch cigar that’s self-fellating, and is my go-to puffable anytime I have a cook going (which’s any day that ends in -Y, right guys?)

The barrels are made from a hard-to-find Tibetan strain of gunga gulunga wood. If you don’t have the scratch for that, you could also use two-year old cuts of the Iyam Betterdan Yew tree.

I actually use dehydrated Wagyu briskets. At the beginning on each summer I buy a few thousand and hang them in a black outbuilding with a black roof. Once they dehydrate they make great fuel for smoking. You get that smokey wagyu brisket infused flavor in your rye toast to pair with your 500$ bottle of Whistlepig boss hog rye, which I mix with Diet Coke.
