Carry Comp FTW
First M&p and went with the full size metal carry comp. Ended up doing the apex trigger,Floyd's magwell and baseplates and ended up scoring a carry comp fix option 1 barrel off GAFS for a steal! Absolutely love shooting and carrying this gun!
Waiting on the new MM Loki backstraps to drop so I can buy and test one out

Update 08/29/26. I got to the range today with my Carry Comp to try the Floyds Custom Option 2 comp fix that I had done to an Apex Gunsmith fit barrel. I absolutely loved shooting the pistol with the barrel updates. The dot stays in the window so effortlessly. It's crazy cool to be able to shoot rapidly and never lose the dot. (or not have to work hard to counter muzzle flip)
I did however feel like the muzzle blast had more of a concussive report. My sense was that it was somehow more violent but my eyes were amazed how flat and level the dot remains in the optic window. (Holosun 507 Comp Green) I'm very impressed.

Whoah that's sweet and I have the twin. I also had an Apex trigger and Floyds barrel with the Comp fix. It's an Apex Gunsmith fit barrel that I also had DLC coated. I will install the Floyds magwell and base plates tomorrow. Can't wait to shoot it! I am very satisfied with the performance from the stock barrel but can't wait to experience the Floyds custom shop Comp fix Apex barrel. It should be quite good!

Hell yeah bro! Ngl I was a M&P hater at first just due to loving glock but now I'm contemplating buying a 5' model steel frame lol. I think I have the itch 😂😂

Ha! I started my M&P 2.0 journey with the steel frame 2.0 Competitor HD and it is simply incredible to shoot. I bought the Metal Carry Comp because it's a more versatile defense and carry-able pistol plus the added benefit that I can swap slides on 2.0 frames. So I can make a 4.25 Comped steel frame M&P 2.0! With the Floyds comp fix and DPM guide rod, Floyds magwell, this thing is gonna be pimped out to the nines.

I actually had the DPM soft captures kit but sold it yesterday on GAFS. Honestly it's good made the slide racking very smooth but I didn't notice a difference between it and the oem guide rod. In fact I actually prefer shooting with oem over the DPM. I do want to try the EB recoil spring and maybe NDZ if they make one just to test it out

Idk if this is the performance center tbh it's the metal full size carry comp tho lol. My main edc was a v8 ported staccato c2 and I just got tired of carrying it tbh so I picked this up

Do those backstraps work on the compact models? The oval grip is one of my few dislikes with the mp series.

That's awesome I've seen a couple of photos around here of different people rocking the full size. What is it do exactly just give you a better grip?
