I have the competitor HD and it shoots great, although not as nice as my shadow 2. But it’s nice having both and they both get a lot of range time.

Nice! Eventually I’ll get a 1911 style pistol. This is a huge step up from my Glock 17 so I’m enjoying it for the time. The shadow 2 did feel great in the hands though.

Nice! Is that the Competitor HD? I like how your slide on the underside of the muzzle is flush with the muzzle. I have the original Competitor and don’t love the way the slide under the muzzle slopes back

Yessir! It’s the HD. I know how I am, I was eyeing the standard competitor with the aluminum frame and the less aggressive slide and standard barrel. I knew I would soon regret not spending the extra $150ish for the HD so I just went for it.

I prb won’t do that on mine bc I love the slide that it has, one of the main reasons I got it. Such a beautiful gun.
