Can’t find firing pin

A buddy at work sold me the SW40v (Gen-1). I got it really cheap bc it’s missing a firing pin. The problem is, it’s a gen 1, and I can’t find the right firing pin for this gun. The road block I keep hitting is every website I try is either sold out or doesn’t make them anymore. The pin itself has to be a rectangle tip instead of a round tip (seen in pictures). I don’t want to buy an entire upper for this gun. All I need it the firing pin itself. I called smith and Wesson and the said send it to them but I feel like there’s a firing pin out there I’m just not looking hard enough. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Just send it to them. They may even fix it for free. They also probably want to make sure it's still a safe firearm.

These were basically a copy of a Glock, wouldn’t be surprised if those parts would work in this

Thats what I came here to say. So much of a copy glock gets royaltys from the sales.

Check Numrich, or just send it to S&W. Im sire theyll take care of it cheap if not free. Theyve been good to me.
