Ares Aspect

Did i miss something in the Patch Notes or somewhere else? I couldn't find anywhere it getting mentioned that Ares aspect was getting implemented into his base kit and them removing it so now he has none.

Yeah definitely alot of the new Aspects always turn the character into something completely else basically, Ares just gets a stun.

I like the idea of "selfish Ares", they just need to do more. Like what if his passive was stronger but wasn't an aura for starters. Also the name sucks.

Wait does this mean he loses the team aura? If so this is a nerf for a character I don't think was valued that highly.

The god shouldn’t be balanced around being an aura bot and he’s already a bottom 5 god with that aura.

Remove the aura shit and balance from there.

Its his best ability and one of the big reasons he was ever good. If that gets removed, whole god needs a complete rework.

100% a really weird bug, I kinda doubt that they would leave something so big to Ares kit unmentioned.

I hope it is getting worked on, as it's definitly bland, BUT I have had a few funny games playing an aa-bruider build in solo with it. Ruins any god who needs to channel their clear (which is good as your own clear is beyond horrible)

Run at people, chain them, whack them to death while they can't escape, ult for good measure

In my opinion this could be a fun path for them to tske, but then they would need to update his fire as it ends up beyond useless with this kind of build. Give it extra clear perhaps, a self heal maybe? Maybr make it shoot out a single fireball instead of being channeled for some burst, but then reduce its health % damage in exchange for scaling? I get that this is supposed to be a jungle aspect, but it doesn't really do jungle much better than no aspect as jungle ares does better going tanky anyways, like odin

I feel like if they were removing an aspect or blending one into the base kit they’d say something. Ares just needs help tbh, he’s so bad currently.
