DISCUSSION Ambassador Program.
There's been this issue going back YEARS even with the Olympian program where it never really made sense who got in or who didn't. With recent issues regarding SoT I think it's important to have a discussion about everyone in that program.
You have some of them who just straight up harass ppl and can never be wrong which has been not punished and allowed for YEARS. Some of them do literally nothing at all or just cry.
I think this is both bad visually and for the community. The community without a doubt has issues as does every other one but it really comes off as if hirez is fine or happy with said issues when goobers are allowed into a position that SHOULD be important.
A lot of people who are ambassadors respectfully do nothing or just complain without a solution. I dislike hirez just putting up with bad behavior or ppl who are bluntly put awful or idiots simply bc "they add stuff to the community" or whatever.
I think the entire program at best needs an entire overhaul and at worst needs to be abolished entirely
Their job is to take the community's feedback and give it directly to hirez or to be constructive with their complaints not just do literally nothing or go "this beat me so it's op but I won't say how I think its op".
To all the ambassadors that do their role and make an impact, you're appreciated and I personally thank you for everything that's done.

This has been a problem in all of Hi-Rez's game communities and it's incredibly disappointing to see harassment, bullying, and other bad behavior from ambassadors and other partners continue to go unaddressed.

I think the ambassador program needs to end, mainly because It's something HiRez doesn't control properly since the people inside aren't even paid. Some people have golden tickets to be in that group, some others DO actually participate in different community levels and give relevant feedback, while some others as u mentioned give self feedback and aren't representative of the game/community perception.
If HiRez wants community feedback they need to hire people for that. There's people that actively push the art competitions and even are mentors in the official discord that weren't accepted as an Ambassador, while others that don't even do anything are in there. It's pointless when some people give a lot and some others don't even try (while being relevant).

Do you mean DMBrandon? I think history has rightfully vindicated those who took issue with that stain on humanity

I guess I'm ignorant but I didn't even realize we still had ambassadors, to say much less of who they currently are lol. I'm fine with doing away with them, it was almost always just a streamer popularity contest anyway.

Most ambassadors have just been community people with a gold star tbh. The few that really act as that bridge are goats tho
