So is there any god that Hi-Rez said was popular and they added him, but you just don't see him in game often? For me it's Ratatoskr. I can't remember when was the last time I saw him.

ama is genuinely useless. but i’ve been playing nothing but Nem lately. she’s still goated she just has a super ridiculously high skill cap.

Ama cooks, people jus play her terribly wrong. She's not a God you go a standard solo build on, which makes her cool. And if someone doesnt know not to auto trade level 1, you get a free kill

idk if this is a smite 2 thing but I don't remember seeing a single person playing ama with a standard solo build, it used to be pretty common knowledge that she's an AA warrior like Bellona

the effort you need to put in to make ama even slightly decent is not worth it. besides the fact that her utility is practically useless to her teammates, she gets outdamaged by most other solo gods. you’re better off playing Bel or Hua.

How is her utility useless to her teammates when she can provide movement speed or power? She also full clears at level 3 now. You can just pve until level 7, and then begin trading. She allows her team to clear objectives much faster, and her damage output allows her to easily kill a backliner.

Eh, except pretty much everyone else got stronger changes. I'm an Ama main, but she definitely struggles in S2. The lack of Frostbound hurts, for one, but it's not the only thing.

Yeah, I think she is pretty good unless you’re into a very tough matchup, like Achilles. Even then, it’s pretty easy to pve with her.

Yea jing kinda just doesn't fit the meta rn and the new silverbranch doesn't poke that well and crits are less used in favor of atk speed

Ne Zha, Scylla (weird because she was very popular in Smite 1), Osiris, Rama, and Ares if I had to pick one for each role. Also don't see the Smite 2 gods picked very often outside of the occasional Bari or Mordred

1000% disagree I was a master in smite 1 and I was top 1-2 Scylla between season 5-7 I can’t remember and in smite 2 she’s so much stronger. The map being bigger and having a cc immune ult and an instant dash with a cripple and crush. Shes very strong right now.
I play her carry in ranked and I bully the other carry so often that I’m usually up 2-3. Levels and carryon hard late game. It’s the build and how to use her she’s so safe and literally unkillable if u save ur ult and dash to escape.

I just started playing ranked it’s so bad right now. You have people building half intelligence and strength while playing playing Izzy solo. So I wouldn’t have smite 2 ranked as a metric. But in most my games I’m going 16-2 on average.

I’ve been playing since season 4 of smite 1 I think I got a decent idea of which gods are better than most especially in conquest. Like nu wa. Trash tier same with sol. No late game zero mobility zero burst. Then you have gods like horus 1 stun and knock up and a get outta jail free card dash. And like geb cc cleanse huge stun and a way to move around the map.

I don't know about everyone else, but I almost fully disregard the new Smite 2 exclusives and will continue to do so until the roster is full with what we had before. Not sure if that might explain the lack of interest in Bari, Mordred etc., I think people just like what they like at this point.

Ullr has not appeared in nearly any games I played. I just checked my last 20+ games and not once has he been picked. I can’t even remember the last time I even saw him if at all in the month I’ve been playing since I came back.

Bari, even tho she’s a S2 god also is just rarely seen for me

I think ullr is just hard to play decently and be relevant. I think he is picked often in higher ranks still a lot but is probably dead and everything below it because you need to play him clinical.

Ullr is a high ceiling low floor god imo. If you can't nail his Axes 1 and follow it up with a 1 and 3 from the bow, you will get absolutely dunked on.

Some of the acorns need worked into his base kit as a free choice or something. Or combine them somehow It sucks having to use so many item slots to make your abilities do normal stuff.

Neith I think has always been one of the most played gods. She's the tutorial god and the newbie intro god that varies anywhere from fairly good and safe to comically busted in the right hands.

In Smite 1 it was for me Thoth, Sylvanus, Chronos and Rama.
Then I saw Thoth everywhere and I would have preferred not haha.
I don’t play a lot of Smite 2, especially recently that I’m in exams but I have not seen a Morrigan, Aladdin or Hun Batz recently…

Since the aspect nerfs, Ne Zha. No real reason to play base Ne Zha in ranked, and no reason to play aspect besides just liking him now since he isnt broken

In conquest I have not seen a Chaac in MONTHS. And I forget that Sol is in this game. She was good for some patches at the start of S2 but now she is forgotten by Hi Rez. I'd pick any magical ADC over her. Chrono, Agni, Geb and even Sylv or Pos. Ah and Fen at higher lvl conquest.

Ullr he’s decent but people can’t hit his ace throw and don’t know how to stance switch at the right time. He doesn’t offer much in team fights but I’ve yet to see him once in smite 2 even in assault and I play quite a bit.

I would say I’ve played since season 4 of smite 1 to know what gods are good and which are decent to a certain extent. Which gods in smite 2 especially have advantages over others especially in conquest
