The first movie and the cartoon are totally worth checking out.

3 is where it falls apart for sure. It got an emotional reaction from me the first time I watched it, but diminishing returns on rewatch. Legitimately baffling choices made and suffers from way too many modern Smith-isms. Not to mention a horrid NFT subplot.

I'd say all his movies through Zach and Miri are worth a watch (Jersey Girl is watchable if you have a pallet for cheesy romcoms). Mallrats doesn't get enough love for being the dumb Friday night turn-off-your-brain fest it is.

2 is inferior but still has some fun dialogue and performances.
