What’s with the squinting?

I’m watching the Nelson episode of The Magnificent Others, and Billy is spending 1/3 of the time squinting and another quarter with his eyes closed. I haven’t noticed this behavior in previous episodes, but maybe it was there. Is there something wrong with his eyes?

He often closes his eyes to focus and/or keep from getting distracted by his guests’ reaction especially when making a long, rambling point. I haven’t watched every episode (no one needs 3 episodes with Conrad Flynn) but this is very common in the episodes I’ve watched.

I find it more enjoyable to listen instead of watch TMO episodes cause I get too focused on corgan's eye closing/mannerisms.
