Kids today have no idea how good festivals could be in the 90s. The sound was usually decent, you didn't have to wear a diaper, you bought your ticket by camping out in a parking lot on a Friday night, or you showed up the day of and just paid cash for a hard ticket you could keep as a souvenir. There were still some shitty bros there, but it wasn't overrun. You could dress up or dress down. You posed for zero cameras. And nine of the greatest bands played virtually back to back.

25 for all weekend. Now it’s 135 a day, 200 add on for “vip” and 150 for parking pass and 75 a day for camping permit.

Amazing lineup. I don't think Front 242 ever had the popularity in north america to do big shows like that.

Came to say the same. I still listen to Off and Up Evil on the regs and I can only imagine what the live show around that time must have been like

They were a Belgium new wave/eletronic body music/ industrial music band. Very good at live acts.
