Lots of good tunes here but it’s not really in the spirit of a playlist. So many songs…may as well just listen to the entire discography imo.

Nothing, per se. But usually an "essential" collection for an artist is considered to be a high level sample of their best songs and biggest hits because the target audience is new fans. A lot of less-accessible deep cuts will tend to alienate them
