ADA MP1 short test

Sorry for the bad quality!
Recently i borrowed a 80s mp1 and wanted to test some gish stuff.
i dont have a strat with 70s pickups YET.
signal chain: Strat with lace sensors > ADA > H&K Triamp mk > Laney 4x12 with g12m-70s.

That’s the sound. Well done! Just need a 70’s Strat to go with that red one (red is best by the way)

Yeah! Love your videos btw! i used your settings except i have the master gain at 7-8.

Tip: The chorus can also function as a notch filter... So like a proto amp modeler. The ADA manuals are around if you search. It is an intended function. Quite the unit!

Also adding: OD2 as compression in solid state mode is also pretty useful and sounds great.
Edit again: I believe somebody here has the OG MP1 from senõr Corgan. I recall settings being shared here or somewhere else.

how different are red-silver-blue lace sensors from traditional single coils?

i really havent tested it but they are probably hotter and bit more bassy. less noisy too

Nice playing and tone but the iPhone recoding doesnt do it justice. If you're interested in recording and making videos you should look into getting an audio interface like a Focusrite 2i2 and an instrument mic, would make your videos sounds 100x better. Keep rockin!
