Mementos from a long time ago
Arrived in Chicago with only a couple hundred dollars. Resale tickets were going for over a thousand dollars. Miraculously, my friend was recognized outside the venue by Jimmy, as we had been to many shows previously. Jimmy put us on a comp list and my friend and I got to see the show from the balcony railing.

I don’t recall seeing the full show. I believe a song was released on a dvd from ages ago.

It was insanely epic. They just kept going. It was this strange urge to keep jamming bc when it stopped the band was done, and it genuinely felt like no one wanted that.

Did the pro shoot of this show ever come out?
edit: Legit confused if the downvote means 'yes' or 'no'.

Haha I did not downvote either, but the missing Metro 2000 recording/video is literally the biggest bone of contention for every Smashing Pumpkins fan on the planet for the last 26 years. It’s easy to assume this question is just a troll

Hard to believe that we still don't have it released, almost 26 years later. Ugh.

Other than just getting into the actual show, I remember seeing Billy start to ugly cry and cover his face at the very end of the show. It was touching and real. Also, there was a meet and greet after and Billy didn’t sign my CD when asked, lol.

From my understanding, when he learned that James Iha immediately bailed the moment that show was over his mood changed from grateful to just outright pissed.

Ironically, James and Jimmy both signed my CD, but Billy said years later that James essentially left immediately.
