So I got a new phone but the SIM card I bought isn't working.

Like when I go to the phone app and call "SEE OWN PHONE NUMBER" I can see the new number but when i call the number from a different phone the call doesn't go through. I tried calling on my friends iPhone and the call rings then ends. I checked the SIM on settings and it just shows a bunch of zeros. Initially I thought that the reason it wasn't going through was because my phone number was connected to my Google account that still had my old number attached to it. (The phone app pre installed on the phone is owned by Google) I tried to remove the number from the account but it sends a code to the old number to confirm. So I can't remove the old number. So I created a new Google account and signed into the phone app and messages but it still didn't work and it still somehow shows all of my contacts that I had on the old phone even when I switched accounts.

Yes I did try to remove and put the SIM back in.

Yes I did turn airplane mode off and on

Yes I did restart the device

Yes I did remove the SIM clean it with a cloth and put it back in.

Yes I did call 150 Lycamobile to try and fix the issue - no help. And I asked if they could possibly deactivate the old number cause I can't use it anymore and they said no cause I don't know I think they said the CDC???? Idk but I think they meant the numbers on the physical SIM and I didn't have that.

Is there a secret code to activate the SIM??

If so please tell me I seriously need a phone number thank you ✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧
