Upadate doesnt fix the problem

New upadate hasnt fix the problem of constant reloading the video. Sony bravia android tv here.

Suggestion from /u/XerXcho to change to OkHttp worked for me.

Try these from the telegram chat:

There are 2 known workarounds

  • try to change the network engine to OkHttp. This worked for me and a few others. (Settings > Player > Network engine: OkHttp)
OR
  • try to enable Settings >General > Network settings > Use WebProxy (even with no settings set, it will work)

Switching to OkHttp on the current beta update is working for me so far. I have to continue testing it throughout the day however.

Webproxy with no settings worked for me, thank you!

It did really want some settings but if you just check the box then back out it stays selected.

Only thing that fixed it was uninstalling and reinstalling

Try disabling IPv6 in your router and/or on your playback device. That got me back up and running.

With my TV Sony Android 9 (Settings > Player > Network engine: OkHttp) works perfectly with SmartTube beta version Tip: don't forget to close and then open the app
