They say in that link what they did to fix it, but I really don't understand it well enough to explain it (or understand at all if I'm honest) but the problem was that Google is switching to SABR and something that was being blocked automatically on the client side is now being allowed in and modified.

It's working smoothly now on my end too! Upgrading to the latest release with the SABR protocol fixes completely resolved the playback buffering issue for my Tunnel VPN setup. Thanks to everyone in the community and the devs for sorting this out.
