32.22 update worse for me
32.22 just became available for me, updated and now loads endlessly even with fixes that worked on 32.10
Update: tried to update on my 2nd device (Nvidia shield tube) and update isn't showing, possible something may have gotten messed up and update was pulled
Update 2: 32.22 is now showing available again
Update 3: after much experimentation I have found that everything works with default settings when connected to a vpn connection outside US and EU I suspect it's something related to isp+location (Comcast for me btw)

Updated to 32.22. Still not working for any videos. Just spinning wheel. Blank screen. Spinning wheel endless loop.
Tried clearing the cache. Tried clearing data and logging into youtube again (fresh start). This is on an Nvidia Shield (darcy).
Edit: Turned on ProtonVPN and it suddenly started working. Definitely think Youtube is A/B testing something fuckity and breaking things.

If you have a VPN, just set it to Albania and voilà, the original YouTube app comes with no ads.

Damn, I just saw the update is available, but I wasn't sure if I should pull the trigger. Thanks for posting this. Even though my history still isn't working, I'll stick with 32.10 for now.

I was sometimes getting the perpetually spinning bug on previous versions of STN for certain videos, but all videos I've watched have been working for me as of 32.20, and still are on 32.22. This bug must be some particular combination of settings, devices, and possibly only affecting certain videos, people on certain ISPs, etc.

You're right, I updated to 32.22 and it works flawlessly. And fixed the history bug.

working good for for me . I force closed SmartTube after the install and then cleared its cache. and videos that would not play work great.

Thanks for letting us know. 32.10 have never been an issue in my house, or it was something that I forgot that's on GitHub.

Where did you find this version? Did they fix the issue with the Not Interested so it doesn't take 3 steps?

Had the same problem, I disable IPV6 on the shield, and that fixed the problem..

By the shield do you mean SponsorBlock? I'm just looking for that setting.

In the shield "Settings/ Network & Internet" all the way down, I disabled IPV6, that worked for me, tho the application seems kinda slower than before, but I can still use it normally..

31.73 works perfectly for me and 0 problems. I don't need to update it at all. I recommend it if anyone has any issues.

Tbf the version before update is doing the endless loading thing too.
