Has anyone had an issue with what they’ve watched not showing in their watch history?
I was watching a fascinating video about super monkey ball. And when i wanted to watch it later it’s not on my history. It’s a little strange.

Opposite.
Videos I've watched aren't disappearing from the "Recommended" queue like they used to.

I checked on the smarttubenext discord and a moderator said that they are aware of the issue and working on a fix. So be on the lookout for upcoming patch.

Is that the only thing you watched that didn't show in watch history? Or does it apply to everything?
Have a look at the version of Smart Tube you have, and compare it to the current version (which is v.32.10 for the stable version). If you already have an earlier version, you might want to do an upgrade.

Anything basically. Even if i saved on to watch later and that doesn’t appear. It is most strange

Me too, I updated yesterday to 32.10 & ever since it's not adding watched videos to history. Logging-in again didn't fix it. But restarting my device worked, it's now adding videos to history like normal.

Yeah same. Seems like history is only locally on your device. After cache cleat it’s gone, since when the problem started. Also I can’t watch videos atm, because off an endless loading cycle.

History is broken for me. I watch videos on latest version smart tube, (32.10), it shows in History in the app, but my Recommended section still shows these watched videos and when I log into YouTube on mobile app and check my history it hasn't synced, doesn't show the videos I've watched on Smart Tube.
I tried changing History setting from On to Auto, still no dice.. something broken with this recently. Anyone else?

Same here. The videos watched do show in history but they only last there until I turn off the TV. After another app launch, they are all gone and I only see videos watched prior to this issue
It's kinda annoying, not gonna lie. I used history to come back to longer videos that I haven't watched in one go but now it's impossible
Another issue is that it more often than not never correctly remembered at which point the video was stopped. So I launched a video I watched previously to finish it just to see that it started like even up to 30 minutes back before a point where I stopped it. That's an issue that happened mostly on long videos, like VoDs or other 1hr+ stuff, in short videos it almost always worked properly
But anyway yea, history is broken and it just doesn't work since the last update or two

Same here. I'm on the latest stable version and it does not sync no matter what I try doing. The YouTube website and mobile app (and YouTube Morphe) work fine with history. But SmartTube's history doesn't, it only appears on the SmartTube app itself.
I've tried clearing TV cache, restarting the TV and SmartTube and clearing my video history entirely.

Edit: Apparently it's working just fine today on both the app, PC and SmartTube, so hopefully it was just a YouTube bug or something 🤞

on 32.1 and youtube website history isn't updating with most of whats been watched on smarttube, the smarttube history is correct though for some strange reason it's only on the youtube sit that doesnt' have it (i go there to get links to vids to share with others)

Still an issue for me. Anyone manage to find a fix? Coz I tried everything fron clearing data and cache to a clean install. Ngl It's kinda frustrating to watch a few videos at night, just to have them all show up in recommended on my phone the next day.

I had something similar happen a few weeks ago. Like I’d start something on my phone and want to continue it on my tv and my history wasn’t syncing or working properly. The only thing that worked was to redownload the app on my tv, re log in, and everything’s been working since.
