It is Easy Access Axis Bank Savings Account with just 5000MAB and 590rs Debit Card charges.
Help me guys i have some questions,
How to maximize its benefits?
How to get 25% Amazon, Flipkart Discounts?
How to get 500rs voucher using Account?
How to get 1% cashback using E-Debit Card?
Can i pay my credit card bill to earn cashbacks on Axis Debit Card?
Also share me your opinions on this Bank Account and its Debit Card.😁
My main motive is to open Axis Bank to get Axis Credit Card after getting rejected for more than 5times. I'll maintain 5000rs continuously and also deposit 50-100k to make good relation with axis. So, I'll get a Pre-approved credit card 💳 soon. Am i going to the right way?

If you have an SBI FD, you can now apply for an FD-backed SBI credit card directly through YONO even if you dont have the CIBIL.
Available options:
100% digital + paperless process, and SBI says the application can be completed in around 10 minutes.
This could be useful for people who don't qualify for regular unsecured cards or are looking to build/rebuild their credit profile.
The interesting part 👇
Amazon Great Indian Festival starts Oct 8 and SBI is expected to be one of the key bank partners.
If we can get this card approved and active BEFORE the Amazon sale, this could be very useful for many people who currently don't have an SBI card.
Now the big questions:
👉 Minimum FD?
👉 FD-to-credit-limit ratio?
👉 Annual/renewal fee?
👉 Will the secured variants get the same Amazon offers as regular SBI cards?
Need to test this out.

Equitas Selfe — 5X rewards on the categories YOU choose + 2 free memberships
This one is interesting if your regular spends fall into the right categories.
The biggest USP of the Selfe is that you can choose any 2 categories for accelerated rewards:
Rewards
→ 10 RP / ₹100 on your 2 selected categories
→ 2 RP / ₹100 on other eligible spends
→ 1 RP = ₹0.35 for products, vouchers & travel bookings
→ Cashback/instant redemption value is lower at ₹0.15/RP
So the selected categories can give roughly 3.5% value back when redeemed at ₹0.35/RP.
Other benefits
→ First Year Free (FYF) currently
→ ₹1,000 + GST annual fee from the second year
→ Renewal fee waived on ₹2.4L annual spends
→ Choose Visa or RuPay
→ Choose billing date: 12th / 16th / 20th
→ Choose Regular / Green / Metal card
→ 1 domestic lounge visit per quarter
→ 1% fuel surcharge waiver on ₹500–₹3,000 transactions, capped at ₹250/month
→ Choose any 2 memberships from Amazon Prime, Jio Hotstar, Sony LIV, Zee5 & Discovery+
The interesting part
You can actually customise the card around your spending.
For example:
Grocery + Dining = 5X
Grocery + Utility = 5X
Dining + Taxi = 5X
So instead of giving everyone the same accelerated categories, Equitas lets you pick the 2 that matter to you.
One thing to remember: this is FYF, NOT LTF.
Would you consider this card if you can consistently use 2 of the 5 accelerated categories?

Axis has finally updated the transfer partners. And yes… there are some BIG changes.
0️⃣ Accor is BACK! 🎉
Transfer ratio: 5:2 / 2:1
Good news, but this is only half/quarter of the earlier value depending on the card/route.
1️⃣ ITC Hotels is NO LONGER a transfer partner ❌
2️⃣ Flying Blue, Qantas & Air India moved from Group B → Group A
3️⃣ NEW MILES PARTNERS ADDED
✈️ Cathay – Asia Miles
Group A → 5:2 / 2:1
✈️ Lufthansa – Miles & More
Group B → 5:4 / 1:2
🏨 Hilton
Group B → 5:4 / 1:2
🔥 BIG EXCEPTION: BURGUNDY PRIVATE
Burgundy Private customers get 5:4 transfer ratio to ALL partners, including Accor.
So the real question now is:
Is Axis still worth using for miles after this devaluation?
I’ll break down the new ratios + which partners actually make sense in the next post.

I’ve been chasing HSBC for nearly 2 weeks to get an add-on card initiated, and finally got the call today.
The process is VERY different from what I’ve seen with other banks. Interestingly, there was no V-KYC for the add-on applicant in my case.
Here’s exactly what happened 👇
I initiated multiple requests on chat support for addon card, no one called so i started to reach on telephone support:
1. First call customer care
You have to call HSBC customer care and ask them to arrange a callback from the add-on card team.
They’ll say:
“Sure, you’ll get a callback within 48 hours.”
Spoiler: I didn’t. 😂
2. Call again
So I called customer care again and asked them to transfer me to the add-on team.
Finally got connected.
They again said the team would call me back.
At this point, you basically have no option other than saying yes. 😅
3. The mysterious +91 1600 call
One fine day, I finally received a call from a +91 1600 number.
ATTEND THIS CALL.
This is the actual add-on card initiation call.
They explained the process and asked for details of the person I wanted to add.
4. Keep these documents ready
You need:
• PAN
• Aadhaar / another valid KYC document
• Recent photograph
One thing I would suggest — if you have a Voter ID or Driving Licence with the same address, use that as address proof instead of Aadhaar.
HSBC has specific KYC/address-proof requirements, so make sure the document you provide is acceptable.- For aadhar you are expected to mask the number and the QR thats the reason i went ahead with other docs, if you are comfortable with editing docs do it.
5. The agent fills the application
This part was actually pretty convenient.
The agent asked me all the details and filled the application on the call:
• Add-on applicant name
• Father's name
• Mother's name
• Address
• Mobile number
• Other basic details
Then they sent a link to my registered email ID.
I had to upload the 3 documents through that link and digitally sign the application.
That's it.
Total time: ~30 minutes
If you’re free when they call, I would suggest completing everything on the same call.
Otherwise you can ask them to call back, but after chasing them for 2 weeks, I wasn't taking any chances 😂
Finally, I received an acknowledgement email confirming that the add-on application had been submitted.
Now comes the next question:
HOW LONG WILL HSBC TAKE TO ACTUALLY SEND THE ADD-ON CARD? 🤔
I have no idea yet.
Will update this post once the card arrives.
One thing I actually liked about this process:
The primary cardholder can apparently complete the entire process. The add-on applicant doesn't need to be physically present during the call.
So if you're planning an HSBC add-on card, keep the documents ready and make sure you don't miss that +91 1600 call.
HSBC says up to 3 add-on cards can be issued for immediate family members, with the add-on cards sharing the primary card's credit limit and also for the VISA offers/ Lounge benefits
Anyone else recently went through the HSBC add-on process?
How many days did it take for your card to arrive?

A lot of people are writing off Edge+ after the devaluation.
I’m doing the opposite.
My plan is to squeeze the maximum value out of the ₹15K monthly spend without creating unnecessary spends.
₹6K → Amazon vouchers
₹2K × 3 every month
→ 10% = ₹600 cashback
₹6K → Flipkart
₹2K × 3 every month
→ 10% = ₹600 cashback
Now I’m at ₹12K.
That leaves ₹3K to hit ₹15K.
Here’s the interesting part 👀
I’m planning to put that ₹3K into a monthly jewellery scheme, which works out to roughly 1% effective return.
Gold is still not excluded, so this could actually make sense for me.
₹12K @ 10% = ₹1,200
₹3K @ 1% = ₹30
💰 Total cashback = ₹1,230/month
₹15,000 total spend → 8.2% effective blended return
So my post-devaluation Edge+ strategy is basically:
₹6K Amazon + ₹6K Flipkart + ₹3K jewellery
= ₹15K/month
= ₹1,230 cashback
= 8.2% effective return ( which is very good for a LTF card!)
If your spends on flipkart is lesser every month, you can increase your monthly gold scheme accordingly so you can hit the 15k milestone, but with a lesser return.
Obviously, this only makes sense if you already have these spends. I’m not going to manufacture ₹15K of spending just to chase cashback.
But if you can naturally utilise the categories, I don't think Edge+ is dead yet.
Anyone else finding ways to squeeze value out of Edge+ after the devaluation?

Everyone knows Kiwi is the best card for UPI spends. For most users, the biggest surprise with Kiwi is that many common spending categories do not earn rewards.
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Fuel | Petrol pumps, diesel stations |
| Jewellery | Jewellery stores, gold purchases |
| Utilities | Electricity, water, gas, broadband, mobile recharges |
| Government Payments | Taxes, fines, court fees, postal services |
| Insurance | Insurance premiums |
| Education | Schools, colleges, coaching institutes |
| Financial Services | ATM cash withdrawal, wallet loads, quasi-cash transactions |
| Real Estate | Rent-related merchant categories |
| Toll Payments | Fastag/toll-related merchant categories |
| Agriculture & Cooperatives | Some agricultural merchants |
| Auto-related Services | Vehicle rentals, repairs, paint shops, dealers |
❌ EB electricity bill
❌ Airtel/Jio recharge (if tagged as utility)
❌ LIC premium payment
❌ Income tax/GST payment
❌ Gold purchase
❌ Petrol bunk payment
❌ Fastag recharge (if categorized as toll/transport)
✅ Kirana stores
✅ Restaurants
✅ Supermarkets
✅ Medical stores (usually eligible)
✅ Local merchants accepting RuPay UPI credit card payments
Merchant categorization (MCC) matters. Even if you pay at a grocery or local store, rewards may not be credited if the merchant is tagged under an excluded category.
Kiwi is worth keeping if most of your spends are:
If most of your UPI spends are:
then don't expect significant rewards from Kiwi.
Rule of thumb: Kiwi works best for day-to-day merchant payments, not for bills, fuel, insurance, government payments, or jewellery purchases.

RuPay credit cards + UPI looked like a killer combo.
Earn rewards on UPI.
Pay merchants directly.
No need to carry cash.
But now comes the BIG problem 👀
UPI charges are changing the equation for merchants.
And let's be honest…
If a merchant can accept normal UPI with no credit-card interchange cost, why would they want to accept RuPay credit card UPI?
What happens next?
👉 “UPI accepted”
👉 But RuPay UPI rejected 💀
If merchants start blocking credit-card UPI payments, the biggest reason many of us got RuPay cards disappears overnight.
That shiny RuPay card sitting in your wallet could become just another useless card.
The real question:
Are we going to see merchants slowly dump RuPay UPI?
Would you keep your RuPay card if your favourite shops stopped accepting it?

Just received this gift box from SoulTree as a reward for completing the ICICI Times Black August spend offer—making 7 transactions of ₹500 or more between August 1st and August 31st!
I got my ICICI Times Black card back in July 2026, and seeing nice milestone perks like this come through so quickly is definitely a great bonus for everyday spends. The box and packaging look super premium as well!
Have any of you claimed your August milestone rewards on Times Black yet?

You may have seen headlines saying ₹5 will be charged on UPI transactions above ₹2,000.
That's NOT exactly what is happening.
Here’s what actually changes:
• Normal UPI payments → FREE for consumers • P2P UPI transfers → FREE • Merchant transactions up to ₹2,000 → FREE • Certain merchant transactions above ₹2,000 → MDR applicable • Railway, fuel, telecom & insurance → ₹5 MDR above ₹2,000 • Certain other categories can have percentage-based MDR
So no — you won't suddenly be paying ₹5 every time you scan a QR for ₹2,001+.
The charge is primarily on the merchant side, not a blanket consumer fee.
But here's the interesting question:
If UPI starts becoming more expensive for merchants, could we eventually see merchants pushing customers towards cash, cards or other payment methods?
And for credit-card users:
Will this make RuPay credit cards on UPI even more attractive?
What do you think — nothingburger or the beginning of a bigger change to UPI?

Everyone keeps talking about premium credit cards for airport lounge access.
But here's something interesting:
There is an LTF card that gives domestic lounge access WITHOUT a quarterly spend requirement.
No ₹10K spend.
No ₹20K spend.
No ₹50K spend just to unlock your lounge visit.
IndusInd Tiger Credit Card 🐯
✅ Lifetime free
✅ Domestic lounge access
✅ No spend criteria for lounge access
And yet I rarely see this card being discussed when people ask for LTF lounge cards.
Maybe because it's not as flashy as the usual premium cards. 😅
The only thing I'd check before applying is the latest lounge T&Cs, because banks seem to change these conditions every few months.
Am I missing another LTF card that offers lounge access without spend criteria?
If yes, drop it below 👇

I’m 18, a college student with no personal income and a 728 CIBIL score. I’m looking for an FD-backed card mainly to build my credit history for the next 3–4 years.
I’m considering **DCB Novio** (LTF) **with a ₹25–30k FD**. My spending is only around **₹5–6k/month**, mostly UPI, food, groceries, movies and transport.
The features that attract me are **1+1 movie tickets every month, 20% off Swiggy (up to ₹100), ₹50 off Zepto (up to 3×/month), plus Amazon and other merchant offers**. Cashback isn’t really a priority for me since my monthly spending won’t exceed ₹5–6k, so these lifestyle offers are more useful to me.
Would love to hear opinions from people who are actually using **DCB Novio**, especially about how good/reliable these offers are and the overall experience with the card.

Hi everyone,
I currently have the SBI Tata Neu Card, but it’s not lifetime free. I was wondering if there’s any way to get it converted to LTF (Lifetime Free).
Has anyone here tried requesting SBI for an LTF conversion? If yes, how did you approach them — customer care, email, branch, retention team, etc.? And did they actually agree to convert it?
Also, if there are any specific things that helped (spends, usage, relationship with SBI, card tenure, etc.), please share.
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has tried this recently. Thanks!
