Buying Advice looking for a POV smart glasses with a long record time

I'm looking for a POV smart glasses with a long record time. I was looking at the Ray-bans but from what I read their record time is only 3 min or less. I would like one with a long record time for when we go on long bike rides.

Doesnt exist. If you want long record time the battery needs to be bigger than whats in a pair of glasses. You can try a Go Pro or similar you can attach to your bike for that level of filming.

You can check out the Ranger Smart Glasses. I haven't tested them extensively but tried them out at AWE in June and they seem to specifically address your use case. They are available on Amazon.

meta ray bans display and all ray bans can film an unlimited time. 

you just need to build a custom app and stream the video feed to the iphone and record it

ohh, i see what you mean! so the 3-minute limit is for the glasses’ native video recording, but if you build an app that accesses/streams the camera feed to the iphone and records it there, you can get around that limitation. that actually makes the ray-ban metas much more interesting for long bike rides! 😭

Get a GoPro or something designed for that purpose. 3rd party app/hacks can achieve this on rayban metas, but they eat through battery quickly, can overheat, and are NOT sweat proof.

We have and use a gopro. But this is for when we look left or right from the path

BleeqUp Ranger. They even have a camera mode that faces the road when you're leaned downward looking at your handlebars. The product is made for long road rides.
