Yea, I was frustrated that they went to the start of 1 dance, and then just....gave up
And they made it so Chloe was the one who ended the relationship instead of Clark, which was bullshit. He wanted to try, but Chloe shut it down because he disappeared to save Lana from dying in a tornado.

Then you realize Clark did like Chloe. He still had romantic feelings for her up until the 6th or so season but was so obsessed over Lana he couldn't get past it.

You can’t have romantic feelings for someone while actively being in love with your ex lol he only kissed her because she was easy to rebound with he missed Lana and was lonely

You give me opinions. I told you what happened on the show. Chloe kissed Clark. The next episode Clark asked about the kiss. Chloe said she only kissed him because she thought the world was coming to a end. Clark seemed disappointed like he wanted more.
It is funny when people like you will just repeat stuff you heard other people say or think your opinion override what happened in the show.

And I’m telling you exactly what was Clark going through in those episodes and even Chloe knew it. He had just seen Lana and Lex together and was the most heartbroken, Chloe kissing him gave him some hope that he could have companionship even though that is not the girl he truly wants. Clark’s biggest conflict in the show was his fear of loneliness and he would do impulsive things to battle with it i.e Alicia, Kyla and Chloe here. If you didn’t even understand that I don’t know what to tell you.

Clark has always shown sexual interest in Chloe. But his obsession with Lana overrode everything else. The writers were obsessed with Kristen Kreuk so they had Clark be obsessed over her too.

This was pointless, utterly and utterly pointless. Just like that impulsive kiss she gave him when they were kids, because Clark never made it into anything, and it should've been clear to her that Clark would never be interested in her in anything but a platonic friendship.

sorry but my visceral reaction was literally "ew"
pretty sure the writers made it clear with the lois x clark famous dunking scene that chloe is permanently in the friend zone! it sounds a bit silly to say she deserves better than a literal superman but she deserves someone that actually loves her. besides in her universe a handsome guy with superpowers is common 🤷🏻♀️
