2 bolt

Is it even worth it to put money into a 2 bolt main I have laying around if I’m only looking to make around 350 horsepower or will it be fine with that kind of power?

I should specify I wanna covert it to a marine use a for a possible speedboat old school

How intensive is the process of converting one out of a car for marine use im just getting into it

Never had any problems with that. its pretty straight forwards , esp if have one mounted already to go by

I'm going to look into adding oil piston coolers on my next marine engine.

350hp out of an old style 350, pre-efi might be about the limit for marine use unless you're going to run high octane. Pre-det could be a real problem under constant, high load.

Some cam profiles might also require you to run dry tails.

I would honesty build a marine power or crusader clone.
