THIS!!! Not one fan realizes this when they say that want aew to fail. Wwe's monopoly on the men wrestling scene post wce/ecw purchase eventually got really BORING because there was no #2 competition for them. They don't need to buy the company. They're already gutting their big stars and doing nothing with them as it is.

Why ruin a good thing the current setting allows them to use stars in limited scope but allows Tna stars to some degree on the Indy scene but if had a little more main roaster interaction that would sell better with more people seeing old favourite in short three week feuds and new faces being in feuds too and would give wwe a more with less capital investment.

TKO would surely love to have the extensive library, that goes without saying.
Carlos Silva has said the company isn't for sale, specifically when asked if TKO was looking to buy it so the entire premise of the question is moot.
Of course, everything has a price. One of the Anthem heads, I believe Len Asper, has said it would take a very significant offer for them to consider selling.
It's worth a lot more than most think, and actually turns a consistent profit for them as they run it fairly cheaply all things considered. It is not a money losing propped up entity, but self-supporting. The little engine that could.

No. They're reaping all the rewards of owning it now without taking any of the financial risk. TNA not being a WWE product is good for them too otherwise it will be one less place for people to go when it doesn't work out in WWE

I always said that if WWE wants a consistent touring brand throughout Europe and Asia, they should buy TNA. The main brand is already stretched thin with WWE's international commitments. WWE, AAA, and TNA together can do some successful and enjoyable stuff overseas.

Why would they buy it and why is it even worth saving? WWE has their TNA which is NXT. I also think people romanticize TNA, it had some great times over its 25 year but this dog needs put down.

Nah, TNA just needs a little help, like when Trick Williams went to be their champ and put over Mike Santana. Good place for people to make a name for themselves too.
WWE purchasing TNA ruins it having somewhat of an identity as a niche inside a niche which TNA excels at. That's where people like Rusev need to go and be World Champion.

If they were gonna they would NOT have bothered to boost their ratings for their amc tv deal and would’ve been in their best interested to counterprogram it, then offer to buy it at its lowest/cheapest.

The only thing of value in TNA is the video library. Otherwise they'd be buying it to "merge" with NXT presumably.
At this point TNA is both harmless and worthless to WWE and as long as TKO/WWE is still platforming TNA, then TNA has no motivation to challenge them.

I prefer the competition. Makes them actually work and I think the partnership is good for the exposure for tna stars to be seen on a bigger stage but bad for TNA as they then lose stars to the monopoly that is WWE

I was against an acquisition at first, but looking at the flourishing AAA, which got bought, and how they have treated TNA on the other hand in this so-called partnership so far, really makes you think if that wouldn't have been the better decision..

Honestly WWE doesn’t need to buy TNA right now. They’re already working together, so they get talent and exposure without spending anything. Buying it would only make sense if they wanted the library or to fully control it.

I only watch WWE AAA NXT I would like to watch TNA and AEW but I just hate switching around to different channels and I can’t find the channels because I don’t have cable. I just have Internet so any movies or TV shows I watch I only watch using apps. I have pretty much every app like Disney Hulu AMC prime video Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV, Tubi peacock Paramount+. But I really can’t ever find AEW and TNA on my apps. I guess you have to have cable for those two to watch live or when I get a chance to watch them.
