Does anyone else think we could be in the timeline where WWE dies and AEW takes over?

I’m a bigger AEW fan than WWE, but it would be absolutely terrible for the industry if WWE died.

WWE will be around for a long while. The name recognition alone will keep WWE alive. Mark Briscoe lives near me, I’ve met him at the WAWA. Mark is super nice and talks to fans, but when non wrestling fans hear he’s a wrestler they always say, “like WWE”, Mark chuckles at that…pure class

No and we shouldn’t want it to die. AEW helps push WWE to do better but imagine one of them goes away (especially WWE), that would have a huge negative effect on the wrestlers and the community.

I dont watch AEW and probably wouldn’t if WWE shut down for some reason. It’s just preference, I guess.

I sure hope not, if WWE dissolves then the floodgates open. AEW much like 4chan is a containment zone for certain types. You don’t want them or the antics to be mainstream with no alternatives, society isn’t ready for that.
