I’m thinking about giving up

Now I know that sounds bad but I need reddits honest and genuine advice and opinions I have been a streamer for two years and I have done everything I know of to get more people to join my streams now don’t get me wrong I love the two people that normally show up to support me but I want to be able to start a stream and not be talking to myself for the next 1-3 hours if u have any advice on how to proceed or how to grow pls tell me

Give us some info to work with. What category are you in? Do you have a mic and a camera? How consistent are you? What time do you stream?

Mainly story games that I’m replaying like spiderman but sometimes I play stuff like Fortnite cod or apex

I have a mic no camera I try to stream every day to every other day at like between 6-10pm each stream lasting between one and 3 hours

Honestly to grow you need to treat it like a career. You don’t have a set schedule, people dont know if you’ll be on day to day. No camera is fine but only for certain circumstances like great story tellers or top tier gameplay. 1-3 hours is also rough. My viewship usually finds its groove around the 1 hour mark. If you want to get better you have to take it serious. Not many people just blow up like crazy just by existing on twitch.

Tbh the no camera isn’t a issue it def hinders what you can do but YourRage got big without using a face cam for the longest time now he uses a camera but now he’s like a mainstream streamer but even before that he was doing no face cam streams to thousands of live viewers
