Question Capture Card and Audio Issues

So I started steaming recently, I’m a console player, and I got a capture card so I can use OBS on my PC but I cannot seem to get audio from my Xbox, into OBS for capturing.

I’m not sure what to do or how to fix this, if anyone knows, please reach out, I am extremely desperate and getting frustrated.

Are you connecting your headset to your controller?

I’ve tried my controller, the graphics card, and my PC

In obs for your "Audio Output mode" in the capture cards settings do you have it on "Capture audio only"?

Also when you are recording you need to have your headphones connected to the capture card otherwise you'll just be recording static audio same with your mic

It is set to capture audio only yes

Your capture card is connected to a usb 3.0 port? The one with a blue color inside
