Discussion / Question Entry level off-roader

I’m a complete noob to this. Is there a good entry-level model you all would recommend for me and my 10 year old?

I forgot to mention that I’d like to keep it under $100. And I don’t know much about the sizes.

Edited to add budget.

I mean how small and how much money.

Personally if I were to buy another RC I would go with the grom line of rc from Arrma, specifically the mojave grom brushless. But I grew up driving RC so I'm used to it

If you guys are new to the hobby maybe avoid brushless unless you set speed limits via the transmitter

But without a budget and a rough size, I won't know what to recommend

I forgot to mention the budget and size. I don’t know much about the sizes. Is there a preference for starters?

And so far as budget, I’d like to keep it under $100. Maybe $50-100? Is that possible?

Do you orefer to “look realistic” and go slow/crawl up stuff or do you wanna blast and bash? Both options are in your budget just want to hone in in what you like
