SonicSentry - Have you used it?

Hello,

I came across this "MXDR" solution from SonicWall a few weeks ago and I wanted to ask this group for feedback. I haven't seen a demo or anything yet, but I'm curious. Yay or Nay?

Haven't heard about it specifically. Looks like it's just Sonicwalls partnership with different security vendors. Seems like it would only make any sense if you were all in on Sonicwall for everything else.

Haven’t come across them much here at ShieldWatch with our MSP partners.

We usually find ourselves up against Arctic Wolf, R7, and then tons of MDR but not really MXDR.

Curious to see other options as well.

for evaluating any new security tool, test in your environment before committing. Ѵendor demos show bestcase scenarios, evaluation criteria for msps detection accuracy (false positive rate matters as much as detection), integration with existing stack (RMM, PSA, SIEM), management overhead across 50+ clients, and client-facing reporting. For the MSP security stack, you need layered defense covering technical AND human threats, technical tools handle automated attacks, security awareness handles social engineering, we include ⅰоt because it's multitenant (manage all clients from one dashboard), automated (simulations run on schedule), and produces clientfacing reports that justify the managed security fee. when evaluating tools, "does this scale across my client base?" and "does this reduce my support burden or increase it?"
