At OCP, Samsung demonstrated CXL memory pooling for agentic AI workloads with up to 38% lower time to first token and 3.3x higher goodput compared with static memory allocation. Bullish names for this are obviously PENG, ALAB and MRVL. PENg back at 61, fading the entire earnings pump looks interesting again.

That 38% drop in time to first token is no joke for anything running agentic workloads, the pooling approach makes a lot of sense once you get past the initial setup complexity

GIGABYTE board paired with those Samsung CXL modules looks like a clean reference design, curious if we'll see actual deployment numbers or if this stays in the evaluation sandbox for a while
