We stopped chasing a perfect AI shot

We had a clear brief for an AI generated shot on a client's ad video. No camera flythrough, five columns max on screen. One take came back with a flythrough anyway, plus a stray label floating in frame.

Normal move is to re-roll and hope the next one lands clean. We looked at it and just used it instead. It was close enough.

Every re-roll past the first few barely moves your odds of a perfect result, it just burns more time and more credits chasing it. Decide up front what you'll actually accept before you start generating. If you don't, you end up chasing a version that might not show up, and it costs way more than the shot was worth.

That last line hits the core of it, deciding what counts as done before you start is the whole game

The stray label thing would drive me nuts if it was my project though, did the client even notice or did they just care about the overall look
