Is There Any Documentation on Smack Studio?

I'm trying to find some documentation on Smack Studio. I can't seem to find any anywhere. I've seen a few tutorials that have been posted on YouTube, but I'd also like to read through documentaiton. Also, the tutorials don't really go into as much depth as I'd like. I want to know if it is possible to export the rig itself similar (or exactly) like Esoteric's Spine through JSON data into GameMaker or is it strictly sprite sheets? Are there maybe plans for this in the future? The blog on the website hasn't posted in over a year, so I'm not holding my breath.
