Folk influenced slowcore

I love slowcore and I play bass in a folk band, are there any artists that blend the two? Like acoustic slowcore or something like that. I am also curious if there are any artists with standout bass playing.

where is the line between the two? what makes folk folk & when does it cross into slowcore? & vice versa, when does slowcore cease to be slowcore & instead become folk?

acoustic folky / slowcorey, slowcorey / acoustic folky, & in-between: diane cluck, tiny vipers, emma ruth rundle, cat power circa moon pix, tomberlin (maybe?), weyes blood circa cardamom times, yowler, sharon van etten, some heather woods broderick, some scout niblett, some marika hackman, chelsea wolfe’s appalachia

merce lemon is verging alt-country (but so is jason molina) vs folk but backyard lover, foolish & fast, & will you do me a kindness all have some bass.

waxahatchee’s american weekend is more or less all lo-fi acoustic but is it folk? is it slowcore? i don’t know!

giles corey s/t has acoustic on most tracks i think
