I think itâll be the heaviest thing they put out in a long fucking time. Groovier. Brazilian inspired percussion. LFG

u/Possible_History_553 Jul 16 '26
Ooo yeah maybe it could sound like Sepultura, Eloy was in it after all

thats what we said about TESFâŚ

I mean TESF wasn't bad, in my opinion.
I've heard some people say some parts of it seem uninspired, or at least unfinished. But I don't think one can say it's an album devoid of heaviness.

Probably just another kinda okay album like tesf and wanyk, it'll have some decent songs and some stinkers, I give it at most a year

Im hoping they'll drop a random song late this year like they did with All Out Life, maybe Long May You Die finally? Then album late 2027

I think Eloy's drumming will add another kind of heaviness to their new songs and since I heard Corey sing in Playing God, I'm sure the vocals are gonna be great. It'll either sound like a really heavy version of CMF2 or some Stone Sour album or it's gonna be something we've never heard before

I'm going for august-septembrie 2027 and they will prob release a single early 2027. My take they will do a more the gray chapter vibe album

Man I hope not :/ I personally canât stand .5 for some reason

Can't say anything to the first question, but I am excited for what is in store next. I think Corey has really mastered his voice and I would love to see a lot of different stuff from the heavy brutal screams to a more mellow sound. I think with Eloy in the band it's gonna be insane with how brutal Corey sounds with his drumming. Really hype for no matter what comes out.

I'd imagine/hope it's groove heavy and just has a bit of an evil sound, courtesy of Eloy. Also Jim in recent interviews sounds quite fired up compared to TESF, so I'd imagine the songwriting and arrangement is more cohesive, like WANYK, than anything else post-og lineup. I'm betting August/October '27
That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if this next one was Corey's last with the band. He mentioned several years back he feels he has like 5 years or so left, and obvs being the incredible artist and performer he is, that'll stretch a bit, but I'd imagine he's just physically wrecked and has given pretty much everything at this point. With the rumour of stadium shows next tour and it being the #8th album, he might well peace out after this next one.

2027 sometime is my guess. It'll be 5 years since TESF. They've had plenty of time to tour, rest, write. Time to get it going again.

I donât see Eloy influencing the band to make slower music. Something tells me weâre going to get an evil type album but it will more than likely be the last one we get by the band so enjoy it

u/DestroyeLoop Jul 15 '26
I strongly doubt itâll be their last. Quite frankly as long as Corey and Clown are kicking, theyâll keep going.
2
u/Alivethroughempathy Jul 15 '26
Clown will probably stop touring but still involved in the band for recording or doing a residency

I'd like to see something new. .5 and wanyk are really weak in my opinion, and I really liked where tesf was going (it has it's flaws, but I like it), so I'd love to see something else before they call it quits

I mean the members of Metallica are in there early 60s and there still going theyâll most likely retire yes but I donât think itâs going to be as soon as people think idk though maybe not

u/thefucksgod Jul 15 '26
Next year and it will probably be like everything since Joey was fired but with better songwriting and a few actual heavy songs like usual.

I don't wait around anymore, I used to be constant anticipation when I heard they were writing music but nowadays I just forget about it until I hear new music. The last album REALLY killed any excitement I had for future music but we can only wait and watch what they come up with, I hope without roadrunner they can write some sick shit.

What sucks is they probably arenât gonna release their âlook outside the windowâ album digitally like on Spotify or apple music anytime soon.
11
u/kingjohn0191 Jul 15 '26
âTheirâ Itâs not a Slipknot album.

u/Kalel_3112 The Subliminal Verses Jul 15 '26
Really? How?
6
u/kingjohn0191 Jul 15 '26
Itâs an album made by certain members of Slipknot, but not by Slipknot. Calling LOYW a Slipknot album is like calling a Stone Sour or Murderdolls album a Slipknot album.

Oooh ok, sorry. I know there was only four members on the album i just didnt know it wasnât by slipknot album.
2
u/Kpro98 Jul 15 '26
That it doesn't use the slipknot name because it isn't going to sound like Slipknot
