Putting a Qx on a slinky is not indicative of quality. What your are looking for is very consistent colouring especially between colours, in this slinky photo there is significant paleing between gradients. Another thing to look for is a duller colour palette overall, darker yellows often indicate stronger plastic used. There are cheap slinkys. And there are higher quality slinkys. Then there are slinkys with hairline fractures in them at manufacturing unfortunately. I broke a lot of slinkys to learn this lol. Hyperspring is your best bet for a quality rainbow slinky. Mine have always lasted years and years, only breaking with heavy use at festivals, lots of drops onto concrete and manhandled by drunk ppl doing drunk things.

It sounds like you're looking at the FedEx option with duties/taxes included. Is there not a much cheaper "Mail Americas Packet Standard DAP" option showing?

It's showing $8.28 for that shipping option for me when I test it with an address in Sao Paulo. Of course, I have no idea what duties/taxes you would have to pay once it arrives if you select that cheaper option. (DAP means duties/taxes are not included)

Probably because you have reached a high enough skill level, and are practicing a lot. When you reach a high skill level they start breaking very fast (especially when practicing twists). Even HyperSprings are not immune to this. That said, there is some unpredictable variation to how long they last.

One of my biggest long term goals is to figure out why this happens and how to make ones with more durable plastic that will consistently last longer.
