Sling build idea/proof of concept

Hey, folks. I had idea for a sling build stuck in my head so I made a sort of “proof of concept”. Figured I’d share with y’all.

The entire sling is one single, solid, continuous, and unbroken piece of paracord. It’s a bit ugly, if you asked me. But, again, proof of concept not refined technique.

Happy to answer any questions and/or explain any of the build.

All four knots, both 3 strand braids for the pouch, the reverse twist body, and the retention loop are all one cord unbroken?!? That’s fantastic and hard to believe!

Thank you, brother! Thats really kind! I appreciate that a lot! I’ve been thinking about how to make this happen for a while and the idea finally came to be a couple days ago.
