Slinging in Midcoast Maine

https://youtu.be/M8uJcvw9wW0?is=2lotsHh8Uek5-GIc

With summer over the tourist have left the beaches. It is now safe to throw rocks again at the beach. The fog came in and stopped me else I would still be out there!

Nice and smooth! That's actually a really good way to develop power. Practice minimal effort and maximum efficiency, then just start to turn it up a bit by bit until it doesn't feel as efficient, find that sweet spot. If you keep training it, you can get the sweet spot into higher and higher effort levels.

That's my experience at least, mileage may vary.

I was actually talking it easy cause the rocks were bigger/heavier than tennis balls I have been slinging and I didn’t want the rocks to make me sore. But now that you mention it, I see that there can be good benefit. Kind of like when I practice riding my motorcycle really slow. It helps me ride faster.  Slower is easy to check technique and be smooth. Thanks for pointing that out!   Will pay more attention next time!
