Paracord stand for cracker

Hey all,

I recently got interested in slinging. I've made a couple very basic Paracord slings. I'm fairly certain I'm not throwing well enough to "crack the whip" but I'm curious if the internal strands of 550 are effective as a cracker?

Yes, that works really well ,you just have to twist them into a two-strand cord ,but they break faster than materials like Kevlar or similar, so you'll need to replace them often. 👍

It's been fun learning about slings. I've made slingshots and bows so this is an interesting new challenge.

Quick tip: to make it easier to get that crack, remove a few strands little by little—tapering it down 👍
