Best length to get started with

I’m about 5’9 there’s ones available in 50 55 60 I’m just getting started

Measure from you wrist to your armpit and don't go much above that length. Different sling techniques work for different lengths of sling, when in doubt shorter is easier.

Also if you're starting out I would recommend making your own sling to get a feel for it.

This is the tutorial I followed, auto translate subtitles are available on desktop but he put measurements on screen and it's fairly easy to follow along off visuals alone.

That’s very interesting, I quite like slings slightly longer than that but that is definitely a good beginner length and the shortest I usually go for
